I've been remiss...

I know, no new blog reports this weekend. But my parents were in town, I had a nasty bout of illness, and I just frankly didn't have time to post! I promise to update soon...

Die, Moths, Die!

I hate moths. Who knew that they were a fairly common problem in SF? Especially if the property were left vacant for a while first? Did I mention that I hate moths? Okay, so I don't really have an infestation, I have a pesky problem of 0-3 moths nightly.

At least they're dumb enough that they just sit there while you move in to kill them.


See? I even have the picture to tell the story. Actually, I got in real close to take the picture, stepped away to put the phone down, and then climbed back up for the kill. It didn't budge. Not even a millimeter.

I'm in mourning

I can't believe how heartbreaking the Pens' loss in Game 6 of the finals was. From the horrific, bad-luck 3rd goal for the Red Wings to the almost tie in the last 1 second of the game, it was just a heartbreaker.

I just need to vegetate.

Oh, and on a side note - spell check only works if the wrong word is misspelled. So, hence the reason my previous post was incorrectly titled "a little BUT of Hawaii." Oops. I meant BIT.

A little bit of Hawaii

I am sitting in my local cafe which happens to be Hawaiian (they offer ukelele lessons on Mondays!) and also has free internet. Not bad hunh? Ok, they are a bit dingy (please clean the walls) but the atmosphere is relaxing.



It happens to be a beautiful and sunny day out, and, oh, also a bit windy. Check it out:


My hair is usually a bit more tame than that. (Yes, Jocelyn, I know, tame when I make the effort!) But the point is, I hope you're enjoying the day too!

Off I go to get keys and to check out a cheese place (snofrisk! - hopefully!) and then... (drum rolling) Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals!!!! Go Pens!!!!

Back to the good ol' days...

...of studying in coffee shops! However, it really depends on internet access as the stuff I am doing really does require me being able to look stuff up on the web.

But my oh my, there are quite a few conditions in their wireless internet use, hmm? We'll see if I bite.

Weighing in...

This is just a little tidbit of information.

Never ever weigh yourself on a scale that is on a rug. It adds almost 10 extra pounds to your real weight! You could seriously freak yourself out, as I did this morning.
