I have already discovered so much about the Australian medical training here - so much nicer in many ways compared to the USA! They realize that 80 hour work weeks are still not very humane. The registrars (like a resident+) work 40 hours a week, get paid OVERTIME!, have most weekends off, 4 week vacations, and most importantly, have NEVER HEARD OF q4 call (I had to explain!). WTF??!!!???
