I don't think it's quite hit me yet. Almost a decade in the 'Burgh - I can't quite believe it myself. I just telling myself, one more year. And 9 years later, here I am, ready to move cross country.
I am not ashamed to admit, I find comfort in things that I know. So, it's a little panic-inducing at the thought that I've got to figure out a new city, all the way across the country, and also figuring out the new work environment that I will be in. That being said, I'm ready to move. And more, I'll be near my sister! Yay!
My apartment is in a state of disarray, trying to pack and stay functional isn't that easy. And oh, I am moving into a place half the size of my current apartment and double the cost. Eek. So, I am slowly selling my furniture and packing up... All for that big drive next week!
